RE: Dual pane window question

ps i think the people on here that have had BOTH types would know alittle more about the subject.
For the record, I have had both, don't have them now.
bumpy :p
Bumpy , I was not assuming that you did or did not have them before, I just wanted the OP to understand that the majority here had both and prefer dual over the single. I am glad to hear that your comments are from past experiance and not just from here say... Joe

RE: Dual pane window question

May I ask how much is the dual pane option? More or less than $500.00
I ordered my unit with them and paid about $1,000.00 for them. In my eyes ( nobody elses eyes ) they were an option we wanted , and we are sure glad we got them ... I think you really need to decide if they are an option that fits in the BUDGET or not.If so , they are not a waste of money , again JMHO. ps i think the people on here that have had BOTH types would know alittle more about the subject.I can't answer any post's about Direct TV due to the fact that I don't have it!!!!:h

RE: Dual pane window question

I just got them for the first time , and we love them. The trailer is much quiter , and easier to cool. the initial cost was not bad as we ordered the unit and recieved a very good deal on all the options we wanted. The options were added in at just alittle over cost.

RE: What are Slidelocks??

They are usually bars that are wedged in between the lip of the slide and the inside wall of the trailer, this prevents the slide from drifting out if there is an issue. Our new trailer did not come with them and we were told that they were not needed. There are several diferent types of slide bars, if getting them, the non adjusting bars worked fine for me .. RE: Fiver without bunks for kids. Yes or No ?

Our last TT had no bunks and the 2 daughters ( 9 & 14 ) stayed on the dinette and the couch with no problems. When we just purchased our new 5er, we did not even look too long at the bunk models, you get soo much more living area with out them. The kids stay on the fold out and on a single blow up mattress that takes minutes to blow up and take down... RE: Camping Etiquette

At what point is it appropriate for a self appointed Camp Director/Guest to walk around and hand out their unsolicited, self generated, stupid “quiz” on camping etiquette?
The correct answer would be: NEVER
I know of the type, they spend their entire weekend in the back pocket of the CG Host driving them crazy with their tenant improvement plans.
-Kevin
This topic is fun, I would fail the quiz . I know that because I dont do very well with thier scavenger hunts. I get confused and upset. Then later I forget to clean up after the dog, and use too much lighter fluid when I start the fire.It usually takes me a twelve pack and some loud polka music to calm my soul... LOL:B (ok I am done now...)
Hey weathershack , only a 12 pack??? I am up to a 30 pack,I need all that fluid in me to put the huge bon fire out :B

RE: Campgrounds-Mrytle Beach

I second the Myrtle Beach Travel Park, if you get lucky you can have a front row site right on the beach! What a beautiful time of year to be there.

RE: Ice chest cooler vs small refrigerator

Where the heck am I going to keep all of this stuff? Me and the DW have already decided that a mini-fridge in the storage bay would be ideal so the kids wouldn't keep tromping in and out for drinks. Then there is the icemaker since I love sweet iced tea. Anything else I can throw in there while I am at it?
BEER , lots and lots of BEER. the minin cooler can keep those good tasting attitude changing drink of choice COLD !!:B

We are thinking of taking our fifth wheel down to Florida around Thanksgiving and have my in-laws use it in Disney a few times threw the winter. It will be kept in storage in the area and I will be looking for someone to take it to and from Fort Wilderness Camp Ground.Does anyone know an RV transporter that will do this??

Timbrens do not change the ride hight or the ride at all during non towing. The Airbags can be aired up and down at anytime..
